As you're visiting Jersey, it's worth knowing a thing or two about the island. The island itself is the largest of the channel isles but is only 9 miles wide and 5 miles tall. Twice a day, the island doubles in size due to its tides. Although the currency in Jersey is sterling, they have their own money and even a £1 note. It is home to the infamous Jersey Cow.
